This Privacy Policy describes how the Cash Rounding POS App ("the App") handles information when used by Shopify merchants. The App is provided by Invenshure LLC ("we", "us", or "our").

Scope of this Policy

This Privacy Policy applies only to the App as used in connection with Shopify and Shopify POS by merchants. It does not apply to any other websites, applications, or services operated by Invenshure LLC, or to any third-party services that you may use in connection with Shopify.

Information We Access

The App accesses limited shop data made available by Shopify in order to provide its functionality. This may include the following categories of information:

• Shop information (for example, store name, store ID, currency settings, and country).
• Product data (for example, product IDs, prices, and tax settings to calculate and apply rounding).
• Order information (for example, order totals and tender type) as provided through Shopify APIs and webhooks to apply rounding to applicable transactions.

The App does not intentionally access or require direct identifiers of customers such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or full payment card details. Any such information that may be present in Shopify’s standard order objects is processed only within Shopify’s environment and is not separately collected or stored by us.

The App does not collect, store, or process personal data outside of Shopify.

How Information Is Used

Information accessed by the App is used only to enable cash rounding functionality within Shopify POS. This includes calculating adjusted totals for eligible cash payments and displaying or recording the rounded amounts within Shopify POS and Shopify Admin as supported by Shopify.

The App operates locally within the POS environment and does not transmit or store merchant or customer data on external servers. We do not use the accessed information for analytics, advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the rounding functionality.

Data Storage and Retention

The App does not maintain external databases and does not store merchant or customer information outside of Shopify systems. Any data handled by the App remains within Shopify’s infrastructure and is retained only in accordance with Shopify’s own data retention practices and your Shopify account settings.

If Shopify or a merchant requests deletion of store data or uninstalls the App, we do not retain copies of merchant or customer data in our own systems, because no such external copies are created by the App.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

The App does not sell, share, or disclose data to third parties. We do not share merchant or customer information with advertising networks, data brokers, or analytics providers.

We may disclose limited information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with applicable law, (b) protect the rights, property, or safety of Invenshure LLC, our users, or others, or (c) enforce our agreements.

Data Security

Because the App does not store personal data externally, all data remains within Shopify’s infrastructure and security environment. We rely on Shopify’s technical and organizational measures to protect data processed by the App within Shopify’s systems, and we do not introduce additional external storage locations that could increase exposure.

However, no system can be completely secure, and merchants are responsible for maintaining the security of their Shopify accounts, devices, and POS hardware, including appropriate access controls for staff using the App.

International Data Considerations

The App processes data only through Shopify’s platform, which may involve transfers of information to servers located in the United States or other countries where Shopify or its service providers operate. Any such transfers are governed by Shopify’s terms and applicable data protection laws. We do not independently transfer merchant or customer data to other jurisdictions.

Merchant and Customer Rights

Because the App does not maintain separate copies of personal data outside of Shopify, requests to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal data relating to a specific individual should be directed to Shopify or to the merchant that controls the store, as applicable.

If we receive a request that relates to data processed solely through Shopify, we will, where appropriate, direct the requester to Shopify or the relevant merchant, since we are not in a position to independently identify or modify personal data stored within Shopify systems.

Children’s Data

The App is intended for use by Shopify merchants and their authorized staff and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect or store personal data about children.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable requirements. Updated versions will be made available at this location. If we make material changes, we may also provide additional notice within the Shopify App listing or through other appropriate channels.
